The Reason for the Season

Boyd and I were invited to a company Christmas party held on the 18th floor of the Zion's Bank building in downtown Salt Lake City. There was piano music, a fabulous dinner, a live band and dancing. All in all it was just delightful.


When we were done with the festivities, Boyd and I took a very short walk through the Main Street Plaza just east of Temple Square. And this is what I saw and loved. The nativity sitting in the middle of the reflecting pool. And I realized that all the lights and decorations, stars and gifts are in celebration of the greatest gift of all...the Savior.

And I rejoice.
